Be a founding member of an improv comedy troupe! Just like a game of pretend but live on stage, this camp will teach you to use your imagination to create once in a life time comedy.

Twisted Classics

Have you ever read a story and thought "if that was me, I would have done things a little differently"? Now's your chance! Together we will turn well known beloved classics into the unknown. We'll create new plots and characters to create classics with a twist!

Character Creation

Join Gamm Teaching artists in a whirlwind week of acting, creating characters, and performing, while emphasizing creativity, connection, collaboration, and, of course, fun! Work with your fellow actors to create a character, brought to life using your body and voice, complete with costume and stage make-up! Characters will then be incorporated into a one-of-a-kind play to be shared with friends and family.

Musical Writing

We’ll answer the age-old question: Can a bunch of middle-schoolers create and perform an original musical production in one week? Will it be the next Hamilton? Or maybe the next Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour? We’ll explore playwriting, comedy sketches, songwriting, and other areas of performance while clearing space on our mantle for a Tony.
