Volunteers are a key to our success. we depend on your energy & ideas in many capacities!
USHERING
Each season, The Gamm relies on the generosity of volunteer ushers to perform a variety of key roles at every performance. Typical usher duties include: scanning tickets, directing patrons in the lobby and theater, stuffing and/or passing out programs, seating patrons, and answering patron questions about The Gamm. In return, ushers get the chance to see Gamm productions free!
Our ushers are essential to a positive Gamm experience for all. Ushers are required to arrive one hour prior to each performance for which you are scheduled. House management will share show-specific information, review general information about the theater, and assign pre-performance projects and usher duties. The usher call time for each performance is listed on the signup form, and will be sent to you in your reminder email.

Administration
The Gamm periodically needs help with data entry, photo copying, mailings, and other marketing, development and box office projects during business hours.
Special Events
The Gamm hosts several exciting events each season, from VIP cocktail parties to our annual spring fundraising bash. If you have experience slinging a cocktail or passing hors d'oeuvres, there’s fun to be had behind the scenes.
